WHAT WE OFFER

New research has emerged that shows there are many things we can do to keep our minds healthy. Brain games that target memory, attention and focus can lead to better recolection, faster reaction time and overall sharper mind.

Keeping social and busy evokes changes in the brain that protects against cognitive decline. Activities such as gardening, bingo, card games, and shopping help keep seniors engaged.

To encourage development and growth in our resident's lives, Green Tree offers activities to help them engage socially and emotionally. Horticultural therapy helps restore our connection to our senses and the natural world. Creating something beautiful or nutritious leads to feeling of contentment and happiness.

Green Tree empowers its residents to have choices and encourage a healthy lifestyle by offering massage in addition to having an on site gym and licensed nurse.

Seniors often suffer from multiple chronic conditions, such as high blood pressure, arthritis and poor sleep. Geriatric yoga combines physical poses with meditation, relaxation and breathing techniques, to improve overall health and well-being.

Not only does yoga helps alleviate physical ailments, but our residents also see psychological benefits of the social interaction of yoga class.
